Barcelona striker on his way to Chelsea

Chelsea wants a striker to replace the fringe Batshuayi and Giroud. They are expected to splash a lot of cash to fetch good players.

Barcelona striker Antoine Griezman has failed to adapt at Campou Nou after a massive transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona want to offload him but have announced they won't sell him at a cheap price. They landed him with a massive fee of £130 million. They want any suitor to bring something close to that fee.

Chelsea were linked with a move for the Barcelona star. But the high fee can't be met due to the coronavirus pandemic which has affected football economy.

Griezman can play as a winger and as a striker. That is advangeus since Tammy Abraham can play alongside him. The deal however for the France international will be successful if the high fee is pocketed back by the Catalan giants.
