Bayern Munich set a new record in their 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening.
Goals from Leon Goretzka, Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski, Alphonso Davies and an own goal from Martin Hinteregger gave the Bavarians the deserved win at home.
The Bavarian sets a new German Bundesliga record of most goals scored after 27 games in the top flight football.
The five goals scored by Hansa Flick's men took their tally this season to 80 goals which is a new record in Germany.
According to Opta Franz, the European giants are the first team to do so.
OptaFranz @OptaFranz: "80 - With 80 goals after 27 matchdays, @FCBayernEN have set a new #Bundesliga record. Infamous. #FCBSGE."
Bayern Munich are currently on top of the log and will hope to stretch their next game against bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund, a match tagged "Der Klassiker (German Clasico)".
