Manchester United has shown keen interest in completing a deal that would see Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius in the Old trafford in summer transfer.
The Primeira Liga giant made it clear for Manchester United to be ready to pay the striker £89m release clause if they want to sign him.
The Brazil International has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United as they are trying to lookout for another center forward as Odion Ighalo who was signed in mid February nears the end of his loan spells.
The 25-year-old has been impressive this season before the coronavirus crisis put the League to a halt as he has scored 15 goals and made 4 assists.
Manchester United Manager want to bolster his attacks against next campaign of which if the Benfica star is signed it would be a great advantage in carrying out his mission ,but Benfica are not ready to reduce the price of their striker pass the £89m release clause on him.
Manchester United need to trigger the release clause to get the striker or otherwise he could be signed by Wolves as the Wolves' Chinese owner is said to have a good relationship with the striker agent.
